Logs & audit

Two distinct journals, two purposes: technical logs to diagnose, the audit trail to prove.

Technical logs

The TrueSign Logs tab records every exchange with Yousign:

  • outbound API calls (request creation, upload, activation, cancellation…);
  • inbound webhooks (signature events);
  • processing errors.

Each entry carries: level (Info / Warning / Error), timestamp, JSON payload summary and HTTP response code. The view filters by level, date, operation type and request. The detail shows the full request and response — enough to qualify an incident precisely before opening a support ticket.

Retention

Configurable in Settings (default: 90 days). A daily batch purges obsolete entries — see Jobs.

Audit trail

Every signature request carries its audit log, viewable from the Status component:

  • every action (send, resend, correction, cancellation) timestamped with its author;
  • signature events per signer (email opened, document viewed, signed, declined);
  • for in-person signing, the physical signer / host distinction.

On the legal-proof side, Yousign provides the proof certificate attached to every signature (qualified timestamp, fingerprints) — see Signature levels.

Complementary traceability

  • Chatter — if enabled, key events (send, signatures, completion) are posted on the record, mentioning the sender.
  • Feed tracking — request status changes are natively historized.
Who sees what

Technical logs are restricted to administrators (TES_Admin). A request's audit trail is visible to whoever can see the request — the standard Salesforce sharing model applies.
