Actions on a request

Acting on a request (43 s)Real demo — Salesforce org + Yousign sandbox · Watch on YouTube

A sent request is not frozen. From the TrueSign Status component (or the Envelopes tab), four actions manage ongoing requests (Ongoing):

Resend

The signer deleted or lost the invitation email? Resend generates a new link and resends the invitation — only to signers still in "Pending" status.

  • If the signer has already signed, the action says so explicitly.
  • Any other error shows the actual detail returned by Yousign (no generic message).
  • The button is hidden for in-person signers — there is no email to resend.

Correct

Correct modifies an in-flight request without recreating it:

  • fix a signer's email (typo);
  • add or remove a signer;
  • change the expiration date.
warning

Documents already signed by at least one signer can no longer be modified — only signers and expiration remain correctable.

Cancel

Cancel closes the request with a reason (forwarded to Yousign); signers receive a cancellation notification. The status moves to Cancelled — final.

Refresh

Refresh forces status synchronization with Yousign — useful if the webhook is not configured or a notification was missed. A green "Status updated" toast confirms the sync.

Traceability: every action (send, resend, correction, cancellation) is timestamped in the request history, viewable in the component's audit log.

Deletion: deleting a request also cascades to its signers, its audit log and its bulk-send rows — no orphan records remain.
