Track a request
Three places to track your signature requests, from most local to most global.
On the record — Status component
The TrueSign Status component on a record page shows every request tied to it: status, signers, progress bar ("2 / 3 signers"), send and signing dates, and each request's audit log. It also hosts the actions (resend, correct, cancel, refresh).
On your home page — "My sends" dashboard
The TrueSign Dashboard widget (added to the Lightning Home by your administrator) lists your requests with:
- quick filters: Ongoing / Completed / Expired / Cancelled / Declined;
- pagination and column sorting (send date by default, status, document, progress);
- one-click navigation to the linked record.
Org-wide — Envelopes and Status tabs
In the TrueSign app:
- TrueSign Envelopes — every request in the org, filterable (my sends, status, object, date range), with inline actions;
- TrueSign Status — summary view: counters per status, 30-day activity, alerts on requests expiring within 3 days.
Understanding statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
Draft | Created, emails not sent yet |
PendingApproval | Awaiting internal approval — nothing has gone out yet (approval workflow) |
Approved | Internally approved — the actual send fires |
Ongoing | Sent, awaiting signatures |
Done | Everyone signed — the signed PDF is attached to the record |
Expired | Deadline passed without full signature |
Cancelled | Cancelled from Salesforce |
Declined | A signer declined (with or without a reason) |
Rejected | Rejected by an approver — reason traced, signers never solicited (approval workflow) |
Each signer additionally has an individual status: Pending → Email opened → Document viewed → Signed (or Declined). An approver moves to Approved or Rejected instead.
Real time or manual?
If the webhook is configured, statuses update in real time — and so does the interface: the components subscribe to status changes and refresh themselves the moment a signature lands, without reloading the page or polling the server.
Without the webhook — or in doubt — the Refresh button forces synchronization with Yousign and confirms with a "Status updated" toast.
